Urgent Appeal for Financial Assistance – Spinal Surgery
We humbly request your support for Mrs. Sana Shahed (38 years old), who has been diagnosed with severe lumbar canal stenosis (L2–L5, S1) at Fortis Hospital, Anandapur, Kolkata, under the care of a Neurosurgery specialist.
For the past three years, she has been suffering from intense lower back pain that radiates to both legs. Unfortunately, her condition has now deteriorated to such an extent that she is unable to walk without support and often requires a wheelchair.
After detailed medical examinations and MRI reports, doctors have advised urgent lumbar decompression surgery with possible fixation. Without timely surgery, her condition may worsen further and could lead to permanent disability.
The estimated cost of surgery, hospitalization, medicines, and post-operative care is extremely high, and the family is currently going through severe financial hardship. Despite their efforts, they are unable to arrange the required amount.
